City Centre Park is located on the traditional territories of the Coast Salish, specifically Esquimalt, Songhees, Scia’new, and the W̱SÁNEĆ peoples represented by the Tsartlip, Pauquachin, Tsawout, Tseycum and Malahat Nations. 

We honor and acknowledge the deep connection these Indigenous communities have with this land and express our gratitude for the opportunity to gather, play, and celebrate on their traditional territory.
